Liz & Steven | Fremont Abbey | Seattle, WA

By | September 17, 2017 | Weddings

Liz and Steven’s Fremont Abbey wedding celebration encompassed the traits that make them so amazing – it was genuine, warm, thoughtful and fun. I left their reception bursting with excitement to start editing all the wonderful moments I experienced.
Liz getting ready with her entire immediate family. Who were amazing. They welcomed me from the moment I walked in to the hotel room to when I was packing up my gear at the very end of the night.
Steven’s reaction to seeing Liz for the first time that day when she was walking arm in arm with her dad down the aisle. Which was by far one of the most emotional parts of the day.
Experiencing their families joyously coming together when we photographed everyone after the ceremony.
Liz and Steven’s quiet moments stolen during cocktail hour. Where we meandered the Fremont neighborhood – which has amazing greenery in the most random spots.
Heartfelt speeches that left most of the guests tearing up.
An insane dance floor. And the best dancing from a ring bearer I’ve ever seen.
I don’t think anyone was ready to stop celebrating when the DJ announced the last song. Which was the best way to end the evening – on the highest note possible.

"Clara shot our wedding at the Fremont Abbey and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! Not only does Clara take incredible photographs, she is easy to work with, super fun, and incredibly professional. We asked Clara to let her own artistic intuition guide her through the evening, and her talent is evident in the myriad exquisite photographs we now have with creative backgrounds she found in the surrounding neighborhood. In addition to her raw talent, Clara is also quick with her turnaround - we had our full album in 2 weeks time - WOW! I would recommend Clara as a wedding photographer without hesitation. Thanks, Clara!"
