When I first met Liam and Lindsey, I noticed how genuine they are, together and as individuals. The vision for their wedding day was to have a relaxing celebration. Where the people they love could reminisce and get to know each other better. With guests traveling from all over the world, they needed an ideal destination for everyone to meet.
The Waimea Plantation Cottages on the Hawaiian island of Kauai was the perfect place. Located on the southwest shore of the island, the cottages have an authentic Hawaiian feel. The wedding weekend consisted of laughter, cricket and croquet matches, beach sunsets, roosters, intense dancing, Aussie and Hoosier accents, Mai Tais, roasted pigs, bonfires and a huge amount of celebration.
We spent the day before the wedding exploring the massive Old Sugar Mill of Koloa and the beautiful St Raphael church. Lindsey and Liam proved easy to photograph given their laid back manner. And having a Hawaiian island as the backdrop made it even easier.
