I met Jenna through my husband Josh. They worked together and when she started planning her wedding he suggested we meet. So we decided to grab a drink at Collins Pub in Pioneer Square. Within five minutes of meeting her and Adam I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding day. They’re fun and energetic and when a couple describes their day as “one big party” I know they’re my people.
Jenna and Adam’s wedding day began at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Seattle. The day started with a bit of a drizzle but by the time Jenna and Adam were ready for their first look the clouds moved and the sun appeared. We decided to photograph couple, bridal and family portraits in Pionner Square. The historic brick background was beautiful and complimented Jenna and Adam’s style perfectly.
The ceremony and reception was at the eclectic Georgetown Ballroom. With brick exposed walls, colorful paper lanterns, and an awesome staff the venue is a great urban option for couples. Jenna and Adam’s ceremony was honest, funny and sweet. The cocktail hour and reception was an epic party. There were hilarious toasts, incredible Motown tunes by SolBird and a ridiculous amount of dancing.
