An L.A. girl, Ella was a bit hesitant to make rainy Seattle her home. But I’ve never seen a bride more ready to brave the wind and rain to marry the man she is clearly crazy about. Ella and Mao exchanged vows on a blustery cloudy day at the popular and beautiful Newcastle Golf Club. With views of Seattle and elegant grounds the setting could not have been more ideal.
Before the ceremony the couple braved portraits in high winds with a lot of laughter. Despite the clouds and the rain, both Ella and Mao were so excited. After the sweet ceremony we photographed the couple and their families. While the rest of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, Ella changed into her traditional Chinese red wedding dress. The reception kicked off with a slideshow of the couple’s relationship. The reception ended with hilarious toasts and karaoke.
